BOONVILLE Riley Smith drove in three runs and Thomas Casey tossed four innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win as the Watertown Rams rallied to an 11-6 victory over the Adirondack Trail Blazers in a Perfect Game Collegiate League Baseball game on Monday night at the Smith Sports Complex.
Watertown, which won the PGCBL West Division title after Utica swept a doubleheader against Elmira on Sunday, pounded out 15 hits and rallied from 4-0 and 6-3 deficits. Dominic Lopez belted a solo home run for the Rams (27-18) and newly acquired Matt Thaiss ripped a two-run double.
Adirondack fell to 16-29 despite belting two-run and three-run home runs.
Watertown hosts the Albany Dutchmen for a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. today before rounding out the regular season 7 p.m. Wednesday against Utica.
The Rams will host the winner of the one-game divisional playoff game between Newark and Elmira in a best-of-three series. Game one will be Friday at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
