A general contractor will be back next week to complete some final alterations to the $1.8 million reconstruction of Clinton Street.
After receiving some complaints, the city will have North Country Contractors LLC, Calcium, back to fix some curb cutouts. City Engineer Kurt W. Hauk said the bottoms of some vehicles have hit the curb as they entered the Watertown Savings Bank parking lot.
The contractor will return to trim the curbs so that will not happen anymore. It also doing some reseeding in spots where grass has not started to grow along the street, Mr. Hauk said.
The reconstruction project began last year and was finished in June.
