Pamela L. Podvin, 36, of 212 Arlington St., was charged by city police early Thursday with second-degree possession of a forged instrument, a felony, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no inspection.

Police said Ms. Podvin had an altered state inspection sticker on the windshield of a 2000 Nissan Altima that she was driving in the 200 block of State Street.

She was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
