Motorists accused of drunken driving


The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Terry V. Krake, 35, County Route 6, Hammond, was charged by state police with aggravated DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation Saturday afternoon on County Route 6 in the town of Morristown.

Police said they received an anonymous complaint that Mr. Krake was driving with a suspended license. His blood alcohol content was listed as 0.33 percent. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.

n Ritchie C. Brunet, 56, of 1596 County Route 20, Hermon, was charged with aggravated DWI early Saturday by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies. Deputies said Mr. Brunet backed his pickup truck into a 2007 Kia owned by April Marsh, Hermon, in the parking lot at 92 Main St., Hermon.

His BAC was listed as 0.24 percent.

n Patrick T. Corbett, 60, Syracuse, was charged by state police at 11:07 p.m. Friday on Route 15 in the town of Sandy Creek with aggravated DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to keep right and making an improper left turn on a two-way road.

Mr. Corbett had a BAC of 0.19 percent, police said.

n Alan L. Livingston, 22, Dezell Road, Lisbon, was charged Saturday night by state police on Hunter Road in Waddington. He also was accused of a turn-signal violation and having an overly loud exhaust. His BAC was listed as 0.08 percent.

Police said that during Mr. Livingston’s arrest, his passenger, Ray A. Putney, 29, Route 37, Lisbon, was using obscene language in public and resisted his arrest. Both men are scheduled to appear in Waddington Town Court.

n Sean D. Summer, 30, of 20 Janes Road, Lot 5, Canton, was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies Friday night on College Street in Canton. His BAC was listed as 0.14 percent.

n Presley Mitchell, 19, of 59 Phillip Hopps Memorial Road, Akwesasne, was charged early Saturday by Massena village police. She is accused of hitting a parked car on West Orvis Street in Massena. Her BAC was not available.

n Iran O. Beltran Guerrero, 28, of 26325 Lanner Lane, Evans Mills, also was charged by state police with speeding at 1:48 a.m. Sunday on Route 342 in the town of LeRay. His BAC was listed as 0.14 percent.

n Lawrence G. Kernehan, 63, of 54 Anthony St., Alexandria Bay, also was charged by state police at 10:05 p.m. Saturday on Route 12 in the town of Alexandria with crossing road hazard markings. His BAC was not listed.

Due to Mr. Kernehan’s medical conditions, a blood sample was taken and charges are pending test results, troopers said.

n Timothy W. Putnam, 31, County Route 28, Ogdensburg, was charged by state police Saturday night on Hamilton Street in Waddington. He also was accused of moving from a lane unsafely and crossing road hazard markings. His BAC was listed as 0.08 percent.

n Nathaniel R. Clintsman, 23, of 763 County Route 17, South Russell, was charged by state police at 2:53 a.m. Sunday on County Route 24 in the town of Edwards. His BAC was listed as 0.08 percent.
