Massena league seek bowlers


MASSENA - A pair of bowling leagues are gearing up for the 2013-14 season.

The Tuesday Night Hot Shots League and Thursday Night Early Birds leagues are both looking for bowlers.

The Hot Shots League is a sanctioned league that consists of four-women teams. The season is slated to open the Tuesday after Labor Day, September 2, and continues for 31 weeks.

Anyone interested in competing in the Hot Shots League should contact Joanne MaComber at (315) 769-8223 or (315) 296-5018 by the end of August.

The Early Birds League is also a sanctioned league with teams madeup of five men or five women. The league is seeking two-to-four teams to join before the season gets underway on September 5.

For more information about fielding a team for the upcoming season, contact Thomas MaComber at (315) 769-8223, leave a message if no answer. The deadline to enter a team is the last week in August.
