BRASHER FALLS - The final night of the Northern New York Box Lacrosse regular season saw Ron’s Agridrainage down Massena Savings and Loan 17-12 and Enbridge-St. Lawrence Gas beat B&W Quick Stop 18-14 in the two High School Division games on Monday at the Tri-Town Arena.

The Elementary Division contest saw Stacey Howlett, DDS, outscore Dow Electric 8-5 while the Reds beat the Whites 19-9 in the Adult Division game.

Ron’s will enter the playoffs as the top seed after going 8-1 through the regular season and will take on Enbridge-SLG in the first semi-final game slated for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Second-seeded B&W Quick Stop will square off against Massena Savings and Loan in the other playoff opener at 7:30 p.m.

Ogdensburg Pepsi again sponsored Powerade Player of the Game awards for the High School Division and Elementary Division matchups.

HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION

Ron’s 17, Massena S&L 12: Owen Kowalchuk tallied two goals and one assist as player of the game in a balanced attack for Ron’s. Drew Rose produced four goals and one assist. Kaleb Rathbun struck for three goals. Matt Burg added a goal and two assists while Luke Collins netted a pair of goal.

For Massena S&L, Isaac Jandreau was named player of the game after notching two goals and two assists. David Beaudoin logged his first career goal and Garrett Clark added a solo tally as Massena S&L finished at 3-6 and heads into the playoffs as the third seed.

Enbridge-SLG 18, B&W Quick Stop 14: Player of the game Isaiah Lyon led the way offensively with seven goals and one assists as Enbridge-SLG fashioned its third win in four games to close out the season at 3-6. Skyler Burns struck for three goals and three assists while Ethan Simonds drew five helpers.

Jacob Sheets scored four goals as player of the game for B&W Quick Stop which finished at 4-5 to gain the second seed. Lukas Arquiett (2 assists) and Nick Kowalchuk (1 assist) contributed two goals apiece.

The quartet of Kody Kocsis (26 saves, 1 goal, 2 assists), Joel Hinckley (22 saves), Cash Feeley (19 saves) and Parker Hornung (18 saves) combined to protect the creases over the course of the two games. ELEMENTARY DIVISION

Stacey Howlett, DDS, 8, Dow Electric 5: Myles Beeson netted a goal in being named player of the game in the winning effort. Ashton Adams generated four goals while Skyler Burns had eight saves filling in between the pipes.

Goaltender Myles Bordeleau earned player of the game status in the losing cause after posting eight saves and managing to score a goal. Jayden Ashley anchored the Dow Electric offense with a pair of goals.

ADULT DIVISION

Reds 19, Whites 9: Brady Helmer (3 assists) and Ross Driscoll broke through for five goals each for the Reds. Jimmy Keenan contributed three goals and an assist while Brian Labier tallied 19 saves and a pair of helpers backstopping the win.

For the Whites, Blake Baldwin fashioned three goals and two assists. Cliff Barnes added two goals while Andrew Fiske turned aside 17 shots and drew a solo assist working the crease.
