Children in Air National Guard and Reserve families may participate in Operation: Catch Me if You Can spy camp with other military youths from throughout the state from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Aug. 16 at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.
The 4-H Air Force Military Partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County will allow 60 children, ages 8 to 12, to attend the camp. According to an extension news release, the camp will address communication, self-sufficiency, competence, relationship and resilience skills. Stephanie Graf, state 4-H military liaison, said hands-on activities will include breaking codes, secret messages and observations, and the use of chemistry to identify substances.

Assistance is available for people with special needs or those who are unable to pay.
