TURIN A New Hampshire man was accused of possessing Ecstasy during a Thursday night traffic stop on Route 26 in the town of West Turin.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies charged Ian T. Jost, 20, Dover, N.H., with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in Turin Town Court and released on unspecified bail.
Deputies said they stopped him just south of the village of Turin for an unspecified traffic violation, and a police dog search turned up a small quantity of Ecstasy and marijuana.
State police assisted at the scene.
