A trial is scheduled to start today in Jefferson County Court in the case of a Watertown man alleged to have participated in the forceful robbery of a man on Factory Street.
Lawrence M. Bradford, 44, is charged with two counts of second-degree robbery and single counts of third-degree robbery, second-degree assault and petit larceny. It is alleged that on Jan. 1 he and Jermaine A. Police said at the time that two cellphones, $200 in cash and a bottle of prescription pills were stolen.
Mr. Nesmith, 31, pleaded guilty May 7 to third-degree robbery and is serving a two-to-four-year state prison sentence at Ogdensburg Correctional Facility.
