UNLAWFULLY GROWING CANNABIS - CANTON - Canton-based state police reported Saturday they had charged Stephen P. Craig, 52, of Canton with unlawfully growing cannabis at 3:31 p.m. Aug. 13 at 1022 Miner Street Road.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police charged Frank R. Tassie, 55, of Massena with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at 10:30 a.m. Friday on state Route 37 in the town of Louisville.

DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Casey L. Hammill, 18, of Massena with driving while intoxicated and ticketed her for use of a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle, failure to signal a turn and moving from lane unsafely following a traffic stop at 2:51 a.m. Saturday on Water Street in the village of Massena.

DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Nolan D. Jacobs, 30, of Hogansburg with driving while intoxicated at 4:46 a.m. Saturday following a stop at the U.S. port of entry on the International Bridge Road in the town of Massena.

PETIT LARCENY - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Meagan M. Williams, 22, of Fort Covington with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 6:42 p.m. Friday at the Malone Walmart.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents Friday and early Saturday from around the region. Among those:

■ Megan L. Foster, 33, of Hannawa Falls at 8:43 a.m. Friday on Route 11, near Willow Street, in the town of Dekalb.

■ Jon D. Suarez, 53, of Parishville at 8:39 p.m. Friday on Route 11, near County Route 2, in the town of Clinton.

■ Glenn M. Smith, 46, of Moira at 12:49 a.m. Saturday on County Route 16, near Route 11, in the town of Bangor.
