Watertown — Graveside services for Mary Catania will be held for the convenience of the family in Glenwood Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.

Miss Catania, 92, formerly of Syracuse, passed away Friday evening, August 16th at the Samaritan Keep Home where she has resided since November of 2011.

She was born in Watertown, January 5, 1921, a daughter to Manuel and Mary Raguso Catania. Mary was a self employed hair dresser in the Syracuse area for many years. She was a member for many years at St. Rose of Lima Church in North Syracuse. Most recently she was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church, Watertown.

Mary is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, to include her caregiver and niece Kay Moran of Watertown and niece Kathy Augliano of Henderson.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Augliano and Josephine Boyd and a brother Carmen Catania who was killed in Okinawa, Japan during WW II.
