UNNECESSARY NOISE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Ryan T. Dempsey, 21, of Hooksnett with unnecessary noise/stereo at 10:45p.m. Friday after responding to a noise complaint at 6 State St. Police said they had received a noise complaint from a village resident reporting 6 State St. had a loud party. Patrol responded and while walking to the residence officers could hear the loud music from a distance. They said was identified as a resident of the house and issued an appearance ticket for a local law violation.

1000 Issued a handicap parking permit.

1148 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

1152 Completed record check for the New York State Police.

1259 Received a larceny complaint. Investigation continues.

1524 Patrols responded along with Potsdam Fire and Rescue to a car / bicycle accident on Main Street.

1549 Completed record check for the New York State Police.

1804 Received a parking complaint in the Filter Plant Alley. Patrol responded.

1810 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

1910 Patrols responded to a domestic dispute on Main Street.

2033 Patrols assisted Clarkson Security with a vehicle and traffic complaint.

2044 Patrols responded to Leroy Street to check the welfare of a resident.

2056 Traffic stop in the Main Street parking lot. Verbal warning issued.

2234 Received a noise complaint on State Street. Patrols responded. Patrol could hear the loud music walking up to the house. Ryan T. Dempsey was issued an Appearance ticket for unnecessary noise/stereo.

2244 Patrols handled a suspicious person’s complaint behind Market square mall.
