Funeral services for Margaret Moran, age 94, will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10:00AM at Notre Dame. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery following the funeral services. Calling Hours will be held from 3:00 to 7:00PM at Frary Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2013. Mrs. Moran passed away peacefully Saturday morning at Riverledge Nursing Home.

Mrs. Moran is survived by two daughters Deborah Williams and her husband Bob, Patricia Crowder and her husband Dave, and two sons, Rodney Moran and his wife Anna, and Thomas Moran and his wife Sandi, all of Ogdensburg. She is also survived by her sister Katherine (Patsy) Thornhill, 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Adrian and her brothers Harry, Jack, Paul, and Haskell.

Mrs. Moran was born April 18, 1919, in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of Bertha (McRoberts) and Lawrence Peter Farrand. She graduated Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1938. She married Adrian Moran on June 26, 1943 at St. Mary’s Cathedral. He predeceased her on April 22, 1995. Her and her husband ran a family meat market on Canton St. for 11 years before retirement. She also volunteered at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center after retirement.

She enjoyed bingo, traveling across the country, and picnicking.
