CRIMINAL POSSESSION WEAPON - BOMBAY - Malone-based state police charged a 14-year-old male juvenile from Moira with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after responding to a gun shots fired complaint at 11:15 p.m. Saturday on County Route 32 in the town of Bombay. The teenager’s case was turned over to the probation department to determine if he will be petitioned to Franklin County Family Court.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police investigated a number of property damage accidents Saturday in the region. Among those:

■ Jennifer L. Preve, 19, of North Bangor swerved to avoid an animal at 10:40 a.m. Saturday on Route 11 in the town fo Stockholm, left the roadway and struck guardrails with the passenger side of her vehicle. She refused medical attention, troopers said.
