Christina J. Kabana, 26, of 28584 Fox Hollow Run, Apt. 402C, Evans Mills, was charged by Watertown police with driving while intoxicated at 12:08 a.m. Saturday on the 900 block of State Street in Watertown.

She is accused of striking a pedestrian, whom police did not identify, near Public Square.

She also was cited with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and failure to notify the state Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change.

Her blood alcohol content was listed as 0.14 percent. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.

Also charged with DWI and related offenses:

n Andrew J. Burwell, no age listed, 143 Northwoods Road, Hermon, was charged by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies with aggravated DWI after he allegedly crashed into an electrical pole at South Canton Road, Potsdam, and broke it about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

His BAC was listed at 0.18 percent. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.

n Anna E. Loera, 21, of 358 W. Lynde St., Watertown, also was charged by state police with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle at 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Washington Street.

Though her BAC was listed at 0.07 percent, police said she failed sobriety tests that demonstrated her ability was impaired. Police also said her license was suspended due to a prior DWI conviction and another charge currently pending.

n Kenneth D. Jones, 37, of 1815 Olmsted Drive, Apt. 224C, Watertown, was charged by state police at 3:55 a.m. Saturday on West Main Street in Watertown, where he was stopped for having dim headlights. His BAC was 0.10 percent, police said.

n Nathan A. Sheley, 26, of 235 Frontenac Blvd., Clayton, was charged by state police at 11:44 p.m. Friday after allegedly making an unsafe start on Merrick Street, Clayton. His BAC was listed at 0.14 percent.

n Travis R. Sprague, 29, of 812 Lawrence St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police about 4 a.m. Wednesday in the J.B. Wise parking lot off Black River Boulevard.

Police said they responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the lot and found a vehicle resting against a utility pole with some paint chipped from the pole. Police said Mr. Sprague was passed out at the wheel with the keys in the ignition. His BAC was alleged to be 0.13 percent.

n Ricardo Gonzalez, 30, of 232 W. Main St., Apt. 44, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police about 2:45 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of North Massey Street. Police said he refused to take a breath test. He also was charged with speeding, following too closely and having excessive window tint.

n Jeremy A. Scott, 21, of 318 Central St., Watertown, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 12:30 a.m. Thursday on Route 324 in the town of LeRay. His BAC was not available. He also was charged with failure to keep right.

n Kristian A. Baxter, 20, Fort Drum, was charged by state police at 3:07 a.m. Friday on Route 12 in the town of Pamelia. His BAC was not available. He also was charged with unlawful possession of a marijuana.

n Randy S. Weaver, 26, of 381 County Route 53, Brasher Falls, was charged Friday night by state police with aggravated DWI and resisting arrest.

Police said Mr. Weaver was found passed out behind the wheel on Barnage Road, Brasher Falls, with his vehicle parked partially in the road and partially on a front lawn. His BAC was listed as 0.19 percent.

n Jonathan A. Fahd, 23, of 55 Westwood Drive, Massena, was charged by state police early Saturday on Andrews Street, Massena, where he was stopped for speeding. His BAC was listed as 0.09 percent.

n Travis B. Gardner, 29, of 21 Pleasant St., Massena, was charged early Saturday by village police on East Orvis Street, Massena, where he allegedly used an illegal signal and was found to be in possession of marijuana. His BAC was not available.
