OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged David M Samatulski, 22, of Canandaigua with an open container violation at 12:30a.m. Sunday after an officer observed him walking on Elm Street with an open container of an alcoholic beverage.



OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Matthew A. Letourneau, 19, of Rouses Point with an open container violation at 12:30a.m. Sunday after an officer observed him walking on Elm Street with an open container of an alcoholic beverage.



OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Anthony J. Ruggiero, 19, of Castleton on Hudson wth an open container violation and unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21 at 1:50a.m. Sunday after an officer observed him on Market Street with an open container of an alcoholic beverage.



LITTERING - POTSDAM - Village police charged Melvin L LaShomb, Jr., 25, of Potsdam with a littering violation at 2:10a.m. Sunday on Depot Streetafter an officer observed him standing in the roadway with a plastic cup with what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage. When the officer approached, police said Lashomb threw the cup and straw down on to the road.



UNSAFE LANE CHANGE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Mikayla E. McDonanald, 18, of Gouverneut for making an unsafe lane change at 1:53 a.m. Sunday after police observed her fail to signal as she moved from one driving lane to the other.

0014 Patrol completed traffic stop on Main Street. A verbal warning was issued.

0030 Patrols observed two subjects with open containers of alcoholic beverage on Elm Street. Appearance tickets issued to both subjects.

0135 Patrol completed traffic stop on Leroy Street. A verbal warning was issued.

0150 Patrol observed subject on Market Street with an open container of an Alcoholic beverage. An Appearance ticket was issued.

0153 Patrol completed traffic stop on Maple Street. Ticket issued.

0159 Potsdam Rescue dispatched for Advance Life Support to Colton.

0210 Patrol observed subject throw an empty plastic cup and straw in roadway. An appearance ticket was issued.

0210 Patrol completed traffic stop on Sandstone Drive. A verbal warning was issued.

0229 Patrols observed a larceny in progress on Market Street. Patrols apprehended subjects and Appearance Tickets were issued.

0418 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call on SUNY Potsdam campus.

1035 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to May Road.

1518 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Clarkson University.

1540 Potsdam Rescue ALS with Madrid. Parishville assisted.

1626 Found wallet. Owner was contacted.

1651 Found NY driver’s license. Turned over to owner.

1653 Walk in domestic complaint.

1913 Report of a dumpster in the river at Ives Park.Some students removed it and picked up the debris that came out of it.

1916 Animal complaint from Maynard Street.

1916 Report of fireworks Harrington Court.

2015 Received report of loose Border Collie dog on Main Street. Patrol responded and transported the animal to the Potsdam Animal Shelter.

2159 Noise complaint on Racquette Road. Patrol responded.
