The AARP luncheon is scheduled for noon at the Italian-American Civic Association, 192 Bellew Ave.

Topics of interest are expected to include Social Security policies, Medicare costs and eligibility ages, prescription drug cost reductions and patient-care-outcome improvements, according to Mr. Owens’s office.
