AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Brian M. Curtis, 19, of Potsdam with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with no insurance and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps at 2:05a.m. Wednesday following a traffic stop on Market Street.
FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Eric W. Zellweger, 21 of Colton for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign after responding to a two-vehicle accident at 9:54 a.m. Wednesday at Munson and Market streets. Martins was contacted and towed a four-wheel drive vehicle from the accident scene.

1845 A college student entered the station who had attached a handcuff to one of his arms and was unable to get it off. A patrol was able to remove the cuff from the individual with the use of a handcuff key.
