AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Brian M. Curtis, 19, of Potsdam with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with no insurance and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps at 2:05a.m. Wednesday following a traffic stop on Market Street.

FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Eric W. Zellweger, 21 of Colton for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign after responding to a two-vehicle accident at 9:54 a.m. Wednesday at Munson and Market streets. Martin’s was contacted and towed a four-wheel drive vehicle from the accident scene.

0845 Report of a vehicle parked on Market Street blocking a fire hydrant. Patrol responded, ticketed vehicle and located owner for removal.

0954 Report of a two vehicle property damage accident at Munson Street and Market Street. Ticket issued.

1019 Potsdam Rescue dispatched Hamilton Street.

1019 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call on Route 11.

1131 Complainant reports that her vehicle was hit and damaged yesterday while parked in a parking lot. Investigation continues.

1153 Report of a female that has fallen in Ives Park. Patrol responded. No injury.

1236 Potsdam Rescue ALS dispatched to call in Waddington.

1258 Equipment inspection completed.

1310 Report of a dog at large Main Street. Owner located.

1312 Traffic stop completed on May Road. A verbal warning was issued.

1416 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Midtown for a knee injury.

1449 Report of a vehicle driving by a daycare hollering vulgarities.Patrols dispatched in an attempt to locate.

1507 Drug complaint received.

1520 Traffic stop completed on Maple Street. A verbal warning was issued.

1714 Patrols dispatched to a local business for a burglar alarm activation.

1820 Potsdam Rescue and Patrols dispatched to Bay Street for a seizure call.

1845 A college student entered the station who had attached a handcuff to one of his arms and was unable to get it off. A patrol was able to remove the cuff from the individual with the use of a handcuff key.
