BENCH WARRANT - POTSDAM - Village police picked up Noella M. Clarke, 40, of Norwood on a bench warrant for an alleged violation of probation at 7:52p.m. Tuesday in Potsdam. She was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with no bail after allegedly violating the terms of her probationary sentence.

BENCH WARRANT - POTSDAM - Village police picked up Barry K. Hill III, 22, of Brushton on a bench warrant at 10:36p.m. Tuesday at the Franklin County Correctional Facility, Malone. He was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond.

AVOIDING TRAFFIC DEVICE - POTSDAM - Village police Sean M. Zimmer, 22, of Auburn at 9:29 a.m. Tuesday on the Clarkson campus after an officer observed his vehicle cutting through the Kinney’s parking lot at a reported high rate of speed in an apparent effort to avoid a traffic light.

SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Audah Sameer Abuzaid, 19, of Potsdamfor speed in zone (48/30) at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday on Maple Street after observing a vehicle on Clarkson Avenue traveling at a high rate of speed.

0929 Traffic stop completed on Clarkson Campus. Ticket issued.

0944 Potsdam Rescue ALS dispatched to Colton.

1138 Patrols requested to assist at the intersection of Elm and Market with a 136 ft. long tractor trailer coming through the village. Completed without incident

1240Patrols responded to a MVA in the parking lot of a local business on Market Street.

1245 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Ticket issued.

1248 Property damage accident in the Asian Mongolian Grill parking lot.Patrol dispatched.

1304Report of a larceny from a local business. Investigation to continue.

1506Request to check the welfare of a subject who resides in the village. Patrols dispatched.

1536 Patrol dispatched to a location to attempt to help an elderly woman gain entry into her house.

1544 A patrol was dispatched to Debra Drive to investigate damage done to a resident’s vehicle.

1602 A subject entered the station and reports almost being struck by a vehicle in the Seacom Credit Union parking lot. The only description he was able to provide of the vehicle was a brand new blue vehicle.

1802 Assisted a subject in getting a handicap permit.

1818 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

2010 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

2024 Assisted other law enforcement agency with locating a subject at a village residence.

2025 Received a report of a stopped train blocking intersections. CSX contacted. Train having mechanical problems. Train repaired and moved.

2207 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

2223 Potsdam Rescue and Patrols dispatched to a medical alarm on Munson Street.

2229 Received a loud music complaint on Bay Street. Patrols responded.
