DEXTER — Tyrell Thomas scored the second goal on an assist from Brad McKinney to help the Watertown boys soccer team secure a Frontier League season-opening crossover victory, 2-0, over host General Brown on Tuesday.

Tim Peters was credited with the first goal, which was deflected off a General Brown defenseman, two minutes into the second half.

Noah Taylor made one save for the shutout, and Ryan Lamon finished with four saves for General Brown.
