Black River man accused of pointing BB gun at two adults and a child

City police accused Mark A. Jackson, 52, of 30124 Route 3, Apt. 2, Black River, of pulling a black BB gun made to look like a Glock pistol out of his pants and pointing it at two adults and a child Saturday.

Police said Mr. Jackson pointed the BB gun at Jordan S. Powell, of Mexico, and Ashley M. Wright, of Watertown, during a domestic dispute about 10 p.m. in the 500 block of Emerson Street. Also around at the time of the incident was a 3-year-old girl, who reportedly hid behind her mother when the gun was pointed in her direction.

Charged at 10:14 p.m. in the 400 block of State Street with two counts of second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, Mr. Jackson was held on $500 bail pending an appearance in City Court.
