The movie, “We Bought a Zoo,” set to be shown at Thompson Park tonight

The last movie under the stars this season will be presented tonight in Thompson Park.

The Heather A. Freeman Foundation teamed up with Fuccillo Automotive Group and the city Parks and Recreation Department to offer the Matt Damon film “We Bought a Zoo” around 7:30 p.m. on Kite Hill. Moviegoers should bring lawn chairs and blankets; the foundation will provide free refreshments.

The rain date is Saturday.

Before the movie, the foundation also is providing free admission to the New York State Zoo at Thompson Park from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The Heather A. Freeman Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a difference in area communities and to helping others in their pursuit of happiness.
