Farm markets: local and fresh

I would like to say thank you to all the vendors in the farmers market. I think it’s great what they do for the communities in Canton, Potsdam and Ogdensburg.

They all get together and set up so that people can come and buy their fresh food and more at the farmers market — and that is on every Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. However, they are changing their hours locally.

It does not cost any more than in a store and it’s a lot fresher for you.

They have different methods you can use to pay for your food — either with food stamps, cash or debit cards.

They are very friendly and nice people. I have bought from the farmers market myself and, boy, it is really good and fresh. You have so much to choose from and you don’t have to buy more than what you want.

Most of the vendors grow their fruits and vegetables locally and some come as far as Black Lake so the community can have fresh produce for their families and children.

Go to a farmers market and test it for yourself and see how great the food tastes.
