PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Laurie Cameron, 31, of 90 East Hatfield St., Apt. 9, Riverdale Apartments, with petit larceny following an investigation into the theft of $30 from Walmart, Massena, on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2.

DOG AT LARGE - MASSENA - Village police charged Douglas Landon, 45, of 110 West Hatfield St., Massena, with failure to license dogs and dogs running at large at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday following an investigation by the dog control officer.

BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA -Malone-based state police picked up Michael J. Jackson, 40, of 56 Water St., Fort Covington, on a bench warrant from Massena Village Court for failure to appear as scheduled on an unlawful possession of marijuana charge stemming from an arrest on June 23, 2012. The warrant was signed on April 1. Troopers encountered Jackson when they responded to a domestic dispute call in Franklin County. He was transported to Massena and turned over to village police. He was arraigned by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson, pleaded guilty to the unlawful possession of marijuana count and was ordered to pay a $125 surcharge. He was released from custody.
