CARTHAGE — Rebekah Zehr netted the game-winning goal on a breakaway in overtime to give the Carthage girls soccer team a 4-3 Frontier League “A” Division win over Indian River on Monday night.

Cassie Birth’s goal off a direct kick tied the game in the 57th minute for the Comets (2-0-1). Mackenzie Kidder provided a goal and an assist and Alexis Wallace also scored off a corner kick.

Erin Hesse scored twice and Kelsi Nabywaniec also scored for the Warriors (1-3-0, 0-3-0).

WATERTOWN 0, SOUTH JEFFERSON 0

The Cyclones and Spartans played to an overtime deadlock in a crossover game at Adams.

Goalie Jackie Decker turned away five shots for South Jefferson (1-0-1), while Katie Aldrich made nine saves for Watertown (1-2-2, 1-1-1).

IHC 8, GENERAL BROWN 0

Rachel Chamberlain and Julia O’Brien each scored twice as the host Cavaliers blanked the Lions (0-3-0) for a crossover victory.

Jaid Baytos chipped in with a goal and two assists for Immaculate Heart Central (1-1-2, 1-0-1).

THOUSAND ISLANDS 1, BEAVER RIVER 0 (OT)

Katelyn Docteur scored off a cross from Olivia Fulmer in the third minute of overtime to give the host Vikings a “C” Division victory.

Ali Cornaire made eight saves for Thousand Islands (2-0).

Mariah Abel stopped four shots for Beaver River (1-1).

SANDY CREEK 2, SOUTH LEWIS 1

Katie Austin scored the game-winner early in the second half as the Comets held on to secure a “C” Division victory at Turin.

Kylie Hanni converted a penalty kick with 45 seconds remaining in the first half to tie the game, and goalie McKenna Guarasce stopped 10 shots for Sandy Creek (1-1).

Jenna Rogers scored the game’s first goal on a penalty kick, and Miranda Rys made 13 saves for South Lewis (0-1).

COPENHAGEN 6, LAFARGEVILLE 1

Claire Stackel recorded three goals and two assists to power the Golden Knights past the Red Knights in “D” Division play at LaFargeville.

Maci Spaulding recorded two assists for Copenhagen (3-0).

Joelle Leek scored for LaFargeville (0-2).

SACKETS HARBOR 2, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 0

Samantha Menapace’s direct-kick goal helped the Patriots claim their first win of the season in a “D” Division game in Sackets Harbor.

Diana Dotson also scored and Lauren Harrienger made eight saves for Sackets Harbor (1-2).

Karlie Maloney made 16 saves for Belleville Henderson (1-2).

LYME 4, ALEXANDRIA 2

Taylor Brown scored twice to spark the Indians to a “D’’ Division win at Alexandria Bay.

Yanna Ososkalo and Lauren Barry each notched a goal and an assist for Lyme (2-0).

Lauren Campbell stopped six shots to earn the victory.

Amanda Lingenfelter scored both goals for the Purple Ghosts.

HARRISVILLE 1, EDWARDS-KNOX 0

Courtney LaBeau scored with 12 minutes remaining in the game to give the Pirates a Northern Athletic Conference West Division victory over the Cougars (0-2-0) in Harrisville.

Abby Lafaver stopped 10 shots for Harrisville (1-0-1).

HARRISVILLE 1, EDWARDS-KNOX 0

Tim Fowler scored with 26 seconds left in regulation as the Pirates claimed a Northern Athletic Conference West Division game at Russell.

Zane Mono stopped four shots for Harrisville (2-0).
