Two Watertown men are facing felony drug charges after they allegedly sold 8 ounces of marijuana to an undercover police officer.
Travis C. Johnson, 24, of 723 LeRay St., and Daniel J. Gadson, 24, of 1004 Bronson St., Apt. D, each was charged by the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force with second-degree criminal sale of marijuana, according to Watertown City Court papers.
The undercover officer used $3,000 in buy money to set up the deal. An undercover officer met Mr. Gadson in a Huntington Street parking lot on Tuesday afternoon before they were joined by Mr. Johnson, who was driving an SUV, court papers said.
Mr. Johnson and Mr. Gadson were arrested by Watertown police a short time later on Arlington Street. The money was later recovered, investigators said.
Both were arraigned in Watertown City Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $10,000 bail.
