Parishville-Hopkinton outlasted Norwood-Norfolk 2-1 while Madrid-Waddington outscored St. Lawrence Central 6-0 in NAC East Division varsity boys soccer action on Thursday.

P-H 2, N-N 1: In Norfolk, the teams played to a scoreless draw through the first half before junior Anthony Pullano put the Panthers on the board first with an unassisted goal 11 minutes into the second half. Pullano then made it 2-0 off an assist from Connor Sullivan in the 22nd minute before Brandon Palmer drew the Flyers to within one by finishing off a play set up by Coby Munson with 2:40 left in regulation.

Kobe Wells worked the P-H crease for six saves while Garrett Waite fielded 12 shots for the Flyers.

M-W 6, SLC 0: In Madrid, Tyler Robinson and Kaden Pickering connected for two goals apiece as the Yellowjackets improved to 3-0 in the division. Sean Tiernan converted on a penalty kick and Mike Cummings scored the first goal of the game.

T.J. Gagnon had eight saves, including one on a penalty kick, in backstopping the shutout while Hadyn St. Hilaire handled a dozen shots for the Larries (0-2).

C-P, SRF BATTLE TO DRAW

In the lone other East Division game played on Thursday, Colton-Pierrrepont and St. Regis Falls dueled to a scoreless tie as Bruce Avery posted five saves for the host Colts and Mike Smith fielded the nine shots he faced for his second straight shutout between the pipes for the Saints.

Chateaugay at Brushton-Moira was postponed.
