SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Joseph S. Bartenstein, 20, of Potsdam for speed in zone (44/30) at 10:30 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Leroy Street.



UNAUTHORIZED USE LICENSE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Zachary N. Laflair, 20, of Canastota for unauthorized use of a license and operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights at 10:39p.m. Friday on Elm Street. Police said they made the stop after they observed Laflair’s vehicle eastbound on Elm Street with no headlights. Patrol initiated a traffic stop and further investigation revealed that the suspect was in possession of another person’s license. The license was seized, police said.



FALSE PERONATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Christopher P. Sendziak, 22, of Lancaster with false personation and an open container violation at 11:30p.m. Friday after he was observed walking on Bay Street with an open container of alcohol. Police said Sendziak initially provided police with a false name, and he was then taken into custody. He was processed at the Potsdam Police Department and was released on appearance tickets for the listed charges.



BENCH WARRANT - POTSDAM - Village police said they received a bench warrant for Thomas E. Anderson, 51, of Parishville.
