CLAYTON Morgan Robbins scored two goals in the first half to spark Thousand Islands to a 3-2 victory over South Lewis in a Frontier League C Division girls soccer game Saturday.
Robbins was also selected as MVP of the match, which was played as the Ed Beerman Jr. Memorial Game.
Casey Webb also tallied a goal, and Aliceson Cornaire made seven saves for Thousand Islands (4-0).
Brianna Lawrence scored two goals for the Falcons (0-4).

Natalie Giglio generated a pair of goals for the Bears one in each half during the Harrisville Tournament game.
Emma Collins, Lindsey Proulx, Emily Pinckney, Tori Daley and Laura Smith added second half goals.

BEAVERS WIN AT CHITTNENANGO
Nola Pominville crossed the finish line eighth out of 169 runners to guide Beaver River to the team title in the Varsity 3 race at the Chittenango Invitational at Jamesville Beach County Park.
Beaver River scored 55 points, while South Lewis was second with 95.
Sierra Kempney (10th), Taylor Moore (12th), Emily Lighthall (14th) and Victoria Rollin (19th) finished in the top 20 for Beaver River.
Sierra Corbett and Christina Platt were the top runners for South Lewis, finishing 13th and 16th, respectively.
PASTOR BOOSTS SPARTANS
Skylar Pastor finished eighth out of 177 runners to pace South Jefferson to a fourth-place finish in the Varsity 1 race of the Chittenango Invitational.
Kaitlyn Neal won the race to help Skaneateles capture the team title with 56 points.
Elanor Brooks (11th), Amanda Lloyd (18th) and Jackie Miller (20th) placed in the top 20 for South Jefferson.

TYLER GUIDES SPARTANS
Nate Tyler of South Jefferson finished 38th out of a field of 222 competitors in the Varsity 1 race to highlight area runners in the Chittenango Invitational at Jamesville Beach County Park. The Spartans finished eighth in the team standings with 232 points.
Will Randall won the race to lead West Genesee to the team title with 23 points.
OSTRUM LEADS LOCALS
Leif Ostrum of South Lewis finished 13th in the Varsity 3 race of the Chittenango Invitational, while Nick Anderson was 14th for Carthage.
Alize Jarrett crossed the finish line 20th of 209 to lead Beaver River to a fifth-place finish with 154 points.
Zakaria Adam of Utica Proctor won the race, and Sauquoit Valley (108) took the team title.
