CLAYTON Two village men were arrested Saturday night on third-degree burglary charges.
Village police arrested Dakota J. Peters, 18, of 621 Theresa St., Apt. 2, and Ross M. Patchin, 22, of 421 John St.
Both were arraigned before Clayton Town Justice Clarence F. Giles Jr. and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, with bail set for both at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
Further details on the case were not available Sunday.
Mr. Peters was placed under probation supervision after he pleaded guilty in Jefferson County Court in November to third-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief as a result of one incident and fourth-degree grand larceny stemming from a second incident.
He admitted to entering a Clayton residence with the intent of committing a crime and damaging four tires on a Dodge Durango on the same day. He also admitted to stealing a 2005 Honda four-wheeler from a town of Orleans residence and causing $5,762.83 worth of damage to the machine.
