Clarence Edward King, Jr., Papa passed away March 2nd, 2013 peacefully at home in his sleep.
Born October 11th, 1941 at Cranberry Lake, NY to Cleo and Clarence King, Sr. Graduated high school in 1959, 1962 he joined the Air Force. He married Lois A. Warne (Syracuse) March 30th, 1963.
He served in the Air Force in Vietnam from 1968-1969 and was honorably discharged as tech sergeant after 8 years of service.
Clarence and Lois settled in Eagle River, Alaska where he started his real estate career of 30 years.
The King family then relocated to Washington state in 1980 where they continued to reside.
His hobbies were hunting, fishing and he loved playing Bingo.
Survived by his wife, Lois, and 3 children, Becky King, Chris King and Stephanie Durette, beloved granddaughter Emily Durette, daughter-in-law Kyrsta King, his sisters Themla Hickey, Patricia Beckman, Lynn King and his brothers Kenneth, Keith and Bruce Beckman, several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.
Predeceased by father Clarence King Sr., brother Donald E. King, and William (Billy) Beckman, mother Cleo Beckman, stepfather Edgar Beckman, grandparents William and Louella Dilcher, and step grandparents William and Katherine Beckman.
