A training series offered at no charge to employers in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties will cover 19 topics over the next eight months in the areas of occupational health and safety. The first series of workshops will be hosted Sept. 30 at Charles H. Bohlen Technical Center, 20104 Route 3, Watertown.
Featured Sept. 30 will be Safety for Supervisors from 8 a.m. to noon, and Bloodborne Pathogens from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
The Jefferson County Industrial Development Agency will host the workshops in conjunction with staff from CITEC Business Solutions, Potsdam. Workshops are funded by a grant from the state Occupational Safety and Health Hazard Abatement Boards training and education fund.
