HEUVELTON — Hannah Thornhill scored three goals to lead the Heuvelton girls soccer team to a 7-0 win over Edwards-Knox in an Northern Athletic Conference West Division game on Wednesday.

Alexis Weidner scored twice for the Bulldogs (4-0-1, 3-0-1). Maddie St. Pierre and Karina Warren also scored for Heuvelton. Paige McCormick made six saves for the shutout.

Edwards-Knox is 0-4, 0-4.

BOYS SOCCER

CHATEAUGAY 5, ST. REGIS FALLS 1

Chad Stalter scored four times as the Bulldogs (3-0) knocked off St. Regis Falls in an East Division game in Chateaugay.

Reid LaPlante scored one goal and assisted on another for Chateaugay. Tyler Fraser scored for the Saints (1-2-1).

VOLLEYBALL

CHATEAUGAY 3, MALONE 0

The Bulldogs moved into first place in the East Division after a 25-11, 25-17, 25-18 sweep of Malone (4-1) in Chateaugay.

Caitlin Miller scored 11 service points and added 10 assists for Chateaugay (5-0). Kylie Hanley scored 10 points with nine assists, and Shelby Yanulavich also tallied 10 points.

MASSENA 3, SALMON RIVER 2

Krista Loran scored 18 points and provided 11 kills to lead the Red Raiders (3-2) to a 25-17, 24-25, 27-25, 25-27, 25-19 win over Salmon River in an East Division match in Massena.

Jacalyn Lamica scored 16 points with nine assists for Massena and Madeline Thibault tallied 14 points.

Raven Oakes led the Shamrocks (2-3) with 14 points and 16 kills.
