City Man Given Conditional Discharge


An Ogdensburg man was given a one-year conditional discharge and fined for attempting to assault another man another man last December.

In city court on Tuesday, Justin K. Jones, 29, of 603 New York Ave., was fined $250 and surcharged $200 for attempting to assault George W. Durand, 34, of Ogdensburg, on Dec. 13 at Belmont Courts.

Mr. Jones was represented by attorney Molly E. Clough, Ogdensburg.

In other cases before Judge William R. Small:

Derrick J. Bush, 31, of 2824 Route 10, DePeyster, pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment to satisfy that charge and resisting arrest from May 9 and unlawful possession of marijuana from May 10.

He was given a one-year conditional discharge, fined $100, surcharged $120 and told to comply with a no harassment order of protection for Loni L. Thompson.

He was represented by attorney Gary R. Alford, Ogdensburg.

Leslie L. Felt,39, of 195 Lovejoy Road, Ogdensburg, was given a one-year conditional discharge, fined $800 and ordered to perform 30 hours of community service for a charge of petit larceny.

She was originally charged April 23-24 with petit larceny and second-degree forgery, accused of making a $100.41 purchase at Wal-Mart, 3000 Ford St. Extension, Ogdensburg, with another person’s credit card.

She was represented by attorney Charles B. Nash, Canton.

Cassie N. Remillard, 29, last known address 159 Lincoln Ave., Waddington, will be back in court with counsel on Oct. 24. to answer a November 2012 charge of second-degree forgery.

She is accused of making a $469.86 purchase at Wal-Mart, 3000 Ford St. Extension, Ogdensburg, with a credit card belonging to Raymond E. Jobin Jr., of 1030 Morris St.
