LEAVING THE SCENE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Lloyd Kennedy, 81, of West Stockholm for leaving the scene of a property damage accident after responding to a report of a hit and run accident at 10:37 a.m. Saturday on Market Street. Kennedy reportdly drove over a village street sign causing damage to the sign and to the vehicle and left the scene. Police investigated the incident and ticketed Kennedy.

UNSAFE BACKING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Charles J. Rishe, 19, of Potsdam for unsafe backing following a property damage accident at 12:06 p.m. Saturday in the Filter Plant Alley.

FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Ashley Rose Gallagher, 21 of Auburn, Maine, for following too closely following a property damage accident at 3:56 p.m. Saturday on Maple Street.

RED LIGHT VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Shelby B. Kibler, 21, of Warsaw for a red light violation following a traffic stop at 5:53 p.m. Saturday after police observed his vehicle fail to stop for a red light on Market Street.

FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Colby R. Emma, 21 of Hope, R.I., for failure to yield the right of way for pedestrian in crosswalk following a traffic stop on 7:11 p.m. Saturday on Maple Street after observing the operator fail to stop for a pedestrian in the crosswalk on Main Street in front of the Roxy Theatre.

1230 Patrol assisted with property retrieval.

1402 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to SUNY Potsdam Rugby field for a player with aneck and back injury.

1556 Property damage accident on Maple Street. Ticket issued.

1601 Observed Potsdam Fire dispatched to Spring Street for an alarm activation. Patrol dispatched.

1753 Traffic stopon Market Street. Ticket issued.

1911 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Ticket issued.

2043 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Canton for mutual aid.

2131 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Stockholm for a call.

2231 Received report of possible underage party. Patrols responded.

2332 Received report of larceny from local business on Maple Street. Patrols responded.
