State police charged two Watertown men with possessing crack cocaine, allegedly with intent to sell.
Police said Steven L. Pacheco, 23, and Dwayne C. Wright, 26, both of 22917 Plaza Drive, Apt. 2, possessed approximately 1.7 grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale.
They were each charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Arraigned in Pamelia Town Court, both were held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending grand jury action, with Mr. Pachecos bail set at $20,000 and Mr. Wrights set at $15,000.
State police were assisted in their investigation by the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force.
