Dirty Gringo booters win


Twin Mill Farms defeated Jacob’s Land Surveying 2-0 in the second meeting of two Lisbon teams in the Kiwanis Youth Soccer Program. Twin Mill Farms also gained a win over Julie’s Dance Studio and the Dirty Gringo posted a win in recent 8-10 Division action.

Twin Mill Farms 2 - JLS 0: The teams took to the field in a highly anticipated rematch with Twin Mill hoping to revenge an early season loss. The game started with back and forth chances at both ends. Then early in the second quarter the first goal came from Matt Kinney following up on a shot from Rowan Rishe.

Eden Lockwood, Caleb Hayden and Cody Claxton took control of the defensive end cancelling out several offensive attempts from Jacob’s. Midway through the final quarter Isaac LaRock took a pass from Anna Hoffman and put it in the back of the net for the final score of the game.

Caleb Richardson and Ben LaRock shared duties in the net for Twin Mill. The hustle from Aaron Morrow of Jacob’s provided several good chances. Sharing duties in the net were Storm Walker, Meg Wilhelm, David Pirie and Isabella Doyle. A well played game by both teams was enjoyed by many parents and spectators.

Twin Mills Farms Def Julie’s Dance:In recent JuniorLeague soccer play, Twin Mill Farms out scores Julies Dance. A balanced attach from Twin Mill farms kept Julie’s on their heels a good portion of the match.

Scoring came with a pair of hat tricks from Rowan Rishe and Lucas Gravlin. Other tallies came in singles from Miles Gendebien, Matt Kinney and Ben LaRock. Strong play came from the rest of the roster both offensively and defensively.

For Julie’s Dance the defense was anchored by Ian Premo, Gabrial Clark and Janesha Brown who frustrated Twin Mill attackers. On the offensive side of the ball Michael LaBrake and Peyton Brouse worked very hard. Lily Monroe took charge of the goal keeping duties.

Dirty Grino 4 - Julie’s Dance 0: The Dirty Gringo downed Julie’s Dance Studio 4-0 in 8-9 Kiwanis Soccer action. The Dirty Gringo goals were delivered by Elyssa Bice from Cooper Garvey, Trey LaBella from Jonathan Bateman, Mason Perretta from Elyssa Bice and Cooper Garvey from Trey LaBella.

Madison Brandy and Hanna O’Reilly were cited for fine two-way efforts and Gabriel Clark, Megan Reed, Peyton Brouse, Kadence Mills and Kelsey Sias led the Julie’s Dance Studio efforts.

Note: Julia Kelso was cited for an exceptional game in Dirty Gringo’s win over Rebekkah’s.
