CROGHAN — Mr. and Mrs. John R. Horning, 8685 Soft Maple Road, observed their 20th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

Mr. Horning, son of Gertrude Horning, Lowville, and the late Richard (Dick) Horning, and Kristine R. Hull, daughter of Betty A. Hull, Watertown, and the late Raymond O. Hull, were married on Sept. 25, 1993, at the home of the bride and groom with Gertrude, mother of the groom and retired town of Denmark justice, officiating. Honor attendants were Paul A. Aucter, Lowville, and Laurie Hayward, Watertown.

Mr. Horning graduated from Copenhagen Central School and Delhi College of Technology, receiving a vocational certificate in plumbing. Mr. Horning owns and operates John R. Horning Handyman Service.

Mrs. Horning graduated from Indian River Central School, Philadelphia, and St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center School of Nursing, Syracuse. She is a registered nurse with Lewis County Public Health.

The couple has a son, Dana Horning, Theresa; and a daughter, Aimee Murphy, Croghan; and five grandchildren.
