OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Sean M. Gallagher, 22, of Sandwich, Mass., with an open container violation at 12:53 a.m. Saturday after an officer observed him with an open container of an alcoholic beverage on Depot Street.



DISOREDERLY CONDUCT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Gabriel M. Vega, 21, of New York City with disorderly conduct - violent behavior at 1:35 a.m. Saturday following an altercation with another subject on Market Street.



UNNECESSARY NOISE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Melissa M. Adorno, 21, of Warwick with unnecessary noise - yelling at 1:35 a.m. Saturday on Elm Street.



DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Adrian J. Heerema, 23, of Doylestown, Ohio with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take roadside breath test and ticketed him for failure to keep right on a two-lane road following a traffic stop 2:17 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Pierrepont Avenue. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.17 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent level that constitutes a DWI offense.



FAKE ID - POTSDAM - Village police charged Ashley K. Burke, 19, of Cicero with attempt to purchase alcohol by fraudulent means under the age of 21 at 5:53 p.m. Saturday after she attempted to use her sister’s ID to purchase alcohol at CJ’s Kegs and Cases.
