SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will welcome back an accomplished alumnus at the Alumni Recital Series this week. Pianist Kevin Moore, class of ’71, will present a concert at 7:30 tonight in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.

The concert, which is free, will open with the Partita No. 4 in D-Major (BMV 8) by Johann Sebastian Bach, followed by an original composition by the artist, Moore’s “Elegie and Dance.” Mr. Moore also will perform a selection of works by Frédéric Chopin, concluding with the Sonata No. 2 in B-Flat Minor, Op. 35, also known as “The Funeral March.”
