BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Meagan M. Williams, 22, of 6 Spaulding Ave., Malone, on a bench warrant at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday following her release from the Franklin County Jail. The warrant, signed by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson on Aug. 27, alleged Williams had failed to appear in court as directed for criminal possession of a hypodermic needle and petit larceny charges. She had been charged with shoplifting $114.78 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Feb. 9. Williams reportedly placed multiple packages of meat in a large purse and then exited the store without paying for the groceries. While she was being processed on that charge, police discovered she was in possession of two hypodermic needles.



HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Village police charged Noel R. Clark, 24, of 117 Main St., Apt. 2, Massena, with second-degree harassment at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday following an investigation into an incident that took place on Sept. 23 on East Orvis Street. She was reportedly giving her estranged husband a ride when an argument broke out and she threw a cup of water on him and then threw a soda bottle at him.



INADEQUATE BRAKE LAMP - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jordan P. Frego, 20, of Woodlawn Avenue, Massena, for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate brake lamp at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on South Main Street.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Amy E. Farrell, 43, of Massena for speed in zone at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on East Hatfield Street.
