WADDINGTON — State police arrested Stephen G. Olmstead, 32, 149 Franklin Rd., Waddington, Monday night after responding to a domestic dispute at his residence when he reportedly shoved his girlfriend, damaged her vehicle and resisted arrest.

Troopers reported that at 11:30 p.m. Olmstead grabbed and pushed Amanda Welcher, of the same address, and damaged her vehicle.

When troopers advised Olmstead he was under arrest, he resisted, troopers said.

Olmstead was charged with resisting arrest and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both class A misdemeanors, and second-degree harassment, a violation.

He was arraigned in Waddington Town Court and was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $2,000 cash or $4,000 secured bond.
