William B. Clark, 76, formerly of 111 LaFargeville Rd., Theresa and a resident at the Summit Village in Watertown passed September 30, 2013 at the Samaritan Medical Center.
The funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct 3 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Black River Cemetery.
Calling hours will precede the service on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Born on June 23, 1937, in Dickinson Center, son of Benjamin Clark and Blanch E. Warner, he attended Black River School.
Mr. Clark worked at several glass companies including Northern Glass Co. and Pittsburgh Glass Co., later known as Paragon Glass for several years as a glazier. During that time he also worked for Conrail in Watertown.
He married Donna Pledger on January 21, 1961 at the Black River Methodist Church.
He enjoyed woodworking, created his own logo Maple Tree Toys and loved making toys for his grandchildren. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Among his survivors are his wife, Donna Clark, Watertown; three daughters and two sons in law, Debbie Clark and her companion, Dominick Crescent, Watertown, Diane and Richard Brown, Watertown, Tammy and Jesse Allen, Watertown; two sons and a daughter in law, William D. Butch Clark, Adams, Bob and Tina Clark, Dexter; a sister, Margaret Westover, Westover, PA; his beloved and devoted dog, Thunder; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Franklin and Hiram Clark and five sisters, Mildred McGuire, Myrtle Donohue, Dorothy Varley, Doris Burgess and Clara Harris all died before him.
