Members of the SUNY Potsdam softball team spent last Thursday evening assisting with Trinity Church’s community supper in the church’s Parish Hall in Potsdam.

The community dinner is one that the church holds every month for less fortunate local residents. The players and coaching staff helped set up and serve the meal for between 50-60 diners and then cleaned up afterwards. The Bears open their 2014 campaign with a doubleheader against the Lyndon State Hornets on Friday, Feb. 28, at the Adirondack Sports Complex Dome in Queensbury, N.Y. The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. Pictured above left to right; Kelly Becker, Erin Murphy, Brittany Thivierge, Megan Johnson, Khalshia White, Brittaney Barr and Emily Tremblay.
