Colton-Pierrepont Central School District superintendent Joseph Kardash will speak at a forum in Saranac Lake Oct. 10 to discuss the results of giving each of the district’s 335 high school students a low-cost netbook with internet access.

The forum, hosted by members of AdkAction.org, will bring together education and technology professionals in Keene Valley to talk about the issues facing technology in education. Leaders from Colton-Pierrepont said the laptop program has reduced costs, eased teacher’s workloads and given more tools to students.
