Helen Vincent Koehlinger, 85, of Warren, IN, passed away at 1:08 PM on Wednesday, October 02, 2013 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN. She was born on Friday, September 21, 1928, in New York, NY. Helen graduated from Watertown High School and then attended New York State University at Potsdam earning her Bachelor of Science in Education. Helen Married Roger L. Koehlinger on July 3, 1954 in Watertown NY. Roger passed away April 28, 2012. Helen taught Elementary School in New York City and Rochester, NY. She had formerly been a member of the Browncroft/Brighton Community Church in Rochester, NY, where she had taught Sunday School and had been a Pioneer Girl leader for many years. Helen is currently a member of the McNatt United Methodist Church. Survivors Include: Daughter - Anne Elizabeth (David) Lautz, Wheaton, IL, Son - Darrell V. Koehlinger, Minneapolis, MN, Son - Jeff Koehlinger, Auburn, IN, Daughter - Kelly (Benjamin) Morton, Warren, IN, 5 - Grandchildren, 2 - Great Grandchildren, Several - Nieces & Nephews, Brother - Donald Vincent, PA, Sisters - Annette (Edward) Spitz and Marian Ellis, both of FL. Helen was preceded in death by her Father - Dr. Leonard M. Vincent,Mother - Grace (Cummings) Vincent, Husband - Roger L. Koehlinger. A service to celebrate Helen’s life will be at McNatt United Methodist Church 9271 W. - 800 S. - 90 Montpelier, Jackson Township Wells County at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 06, 2013 with the Pastor Bill VanHaften officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren. Preferred memorials: McNatt U.M. Church 9271 W. - 800 S. – 90 Montpelier, IN 47359 or Family Life Care 265 W. Water Street Berne, IN 46711.
