Former Watertown resident Judith Judi Baker Hutchinson, 63, of South Bend, IN died at 6:20 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2013 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka,IN surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. Judi was born January 26, 1950 in Lafayette, IN to Robert M. and the late Joann (Scott) Baker and came to the South Bend area in 1963 from Lafayette. She is survived by two sons, Robert and Dan Horvath both of White Pigeon, MI; three grandchildren, Joel, Xavier and Zoe Remmo; her father, Robert M. Baker of South Bend; and sisters, Jacie K. Baker of South Bend, Becki J. Baker of Mishawaka and Barbie J. Reynolds (Jeff) of Indianapolis, IN.
Judi graduated from Clay High School in South Bend, IN in 1969. Her passion in life was her family and friends and she loved to travel. Judi also loved to entertain and relax on her verandah with a glass of wine. Judi was truly loved and respected by all who knew her. She was known for her long blonde hair, blue eyes and her beautiful smile.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 11th in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd., South Bend with Rev. Kim Bloom of Clay Church officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
