Rachel L. Koster and Shane M. Roberts


LOWVILLE — Rachel Lynn Koster and Shane Michael Roberts, both of Lowville, were married at 3 p.m. May 25 at Lowville Mennonite Church with the Rev. Dan Beaulieu, pastor, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Carey L. Jr. and Tina M. Koster, Lowville. The groom is the son of Joey and Lois Roberts, Lowville. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Veronica Berrus, Lowville, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Koster, Lowville, sister of the bride, April Murphy, Lowville, sister of the groom, Stephanie Koster, Kansas City, Mo., sister of the bride, Bethany Croniser, Port Leyden, sister of the groom, and Adrean Tiffany and Deborah Kaban, both of Lowville. Alexandra Richmond, Manlius, was her cousin’s flower girl.

Joshua Widrick, Baldwinsville, was best man. Groomsmen were Timmy Bailey and Cory Tabolt, both of Lowville, Logan Murphy, Lowville, brother-in-law of the groom, Ryan Avery, Connecticut, Christian Berkley, New York City, and Dustin Navarro, Lake George. Ushers were Ian Murphy, Lowville, nephew of the groom, and Sterling Philippon and Gabriel Rich, both of Syracuse and cousins of the bride. Dominic Roes, Lowville, was his uncle’s ring bearer.

A reception was held at Maple Ridge Center. The couple took a weeklong honeymoon to the Poconos.

Mrs. Roberts graduated in 2011 from Lowville Academy and Central School and this year from Bethany Bible Training Center, Salisbury Center. She is a full-time student at Onondaga Community College, Syracuse.

Mr. Roberts graduated in 2009 from Lowville Academy and Central School and in 2012 from Bethany Bible Training Center. He is employed by McLane’s Distribution Center, Baldwinsville.

The couple resides in Baldwinsville.
