OFA Coach Ben Fleahman says sophomore freestyler Chelsea Montroy “seems to get faster everytime she hits the pool”.

Montroy was extremely fast on Thursday as she and junior Susie Morrow each figured in four first places as the host Lady Devils (5-2) won 10 of 11 races defeating Potsdam 108-62.

“Chelsea Montroy works hard all of the time and one of her turns today was among the best I have seen,” said Fleahman after Montroy led the 100 and 200 freestyles and swam on the victorious 200 and 400 freestyle relays.

Morrow also swam on both freestyle relays to go along with break-away wins in the 200 freestyle where she approached her personal best and the 100 backstroke.

Natalie Perrigo also produced two individual victories leading the 100 butterfly and breaststroke and swam on the medley relay with Hunter Shaver, Megan Mills and Madi Bresett.

“Natalie Perrigo swam very well today. She is one of our captains and she will swim anywhere she is needed,” said Fleahman.“She has had a great career.”

Julia Mullin led the 200 individual medley and swam on both freestyle relays, Hunter Shaver swam on the medley and 200 freestyle relays and Megan Mills swam on the medley and 400 freestyle relays.

Shaver, Bresett and Mullin also rounded out 1-2s in the 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle and Claire Dufore took second in the 500 freestyle.

Ari Frascatore won the 500 freestyle for Potsdam.

In modified action OFA posted a 77-62 victory over Potsdam which was bookended by a 1-2 finish in the 200 medley relay and first place in the 200 freestyle relay.

Emma Ladouceur, Peyton LaRock, Emily Streeter and Maria Pelusi led the medley relay and Pelusi, Keeley Grizzuto, Brandi Barkley and Zanay Baker-Johnson paced the freestyle relay. Alexa Hooper, Emma Henry, Katie Rogers and Brandi Barkley swam on the second place medley relay team.
